Worried About Interference in Our Elections?
You’re not alone! Many people and organizations are working on the problem now. Although nothing can be said with100% certainty, here is general information from Corey Dukes from Protect Democracy and Leah Greenberg of the national Indivisible organization.
Federal and State GOP strategy - to cause chaos, doubts and fears in the public
Lies - Flood the media and public appearances with misinformation and false statements.
Disrupt - Threaten or attempt to enact new rules, laws and procedures restricting voting.
Deny - the actual election results.
How to combat this chaos.
Don’t succumb to their strategy and lose hope. Help others to state strong.
Don’t amplify their lies by repeating them to others. Promote a positive voting attitude.
Remember, voting is controlled by the states.
Get involved through organizations, working the polls, and being informed.
Make a plan to vote and vote early. Volunteer to help others to vote.
Remember, over 60 state level courts rule against Trumps 2020 efforts to deny the results.
The last thing Trump and the GOP wants is a strong, confident and joyous voting public.
