A Win and A Warning
The NC Board of election tried to fast track considerable changes to the state election board rules. They rushed the changes through two committees in one day and then asked for public comment for only twenty-three hours.
The public became aware causing citizens to text and email many others. Information about the bill’s content spread so fast and the pushback grew so strong, the new rules bill was pulled out.
That’s the win!!!
Now the warning!
This is not the end of the NC GOP efforts to curb voting rights. There is reporting that these rules may be included in a state budget bill, so they will get enacted with very little public awareness.

Stay aware by following the news carefully, be in contact with your political organizations, get exact detail from NC Legislation Website . THEN:
Take action by calling, texting and emailing your representatives with your demands.

CBS had a scheduled 60 Minutes segment regarding the imprisonment of immigrants deported to El Salvador’s CECOT Prision.
Why did they “postpone” or pull the segment before it was to air one day later. There are probably several reasons, but no one in the Trump Administration, CBS or Paramount + will comment.
Social Media has exploded with the leaked 60 Minutes video about the treatment of deported immigrant men to CECOT prison.
An Interview of a man that was one of several men traded back to Venezuela in exchange for the release of Americans from Venezuela prisons.

Norwegian teachers and students wore paperclips to signal their opposition to Nazi occupation. They attached them to their lapels and wore them as jewelry, a symbol of solidarity binding them together as paperclips did with papers. It was a quiet act of defiance, expressing that Norwegians remained united against Nazi rule…. You probably have a paperclip in your desk or junk drawer that you can put on straight away. You can be a subtle signal of support for people who need that right now. You can be a conservation starter.
